Consultation October 2011
The following documents were subject to consultation until Friday 28 October 2011
Inspect the December 2007 planning applications:
Outline planning applications for the new town of Northstowe were submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council in December 2007.
The plans included approximately 9,500 new homes, a town centre, employment areas and schools creating a community of about 24,000 people. Statutory and public consultation on the applications has ended and nearly 700 representations were received by the Council. The issues raised by the consultations continue to be reviewed by the Homes and Communities Agency and Gallagher in conjunction with the Councils and will inform the evolving proposals for the town.

Although the consultation period ended in April 2008, the planning applications and all supporting documents are available to view as PDFs on South Cambridgeshire District Council's Website. Please be aware that the documents can be quite large.
There are four planning applications: one outline application for the new town and three full applications for highway links to Northstowe and for highway improvements to the A14 corridor were submitted in December 2007. You will need Adobe Acrobat reader to access PDF files. It is available free of charge from the Adobe website.
